There is very little left until the start of the Summer STEM Academy, and we wanted to renew our participation this year too. The event, which will be held from 30 August to 3 September, represents a unique opportunity for the selected children: it combines training on STEM subjects, the promotion and enhancement of gender diversity, insights into soft skills and group activities. The technical-scientific topics on which the event is based are perfectly integrated with our knowledge and passions: this is why, again this year, Tommaso De Marchi, our Chief Operation Officer, has chosen to share a current topic with the kids and innovative like blockchain technology.
In particular, Tommaso will focus on the evolution of blockchain Chinese Student Phone Number List technology in recent years, addressing current and innovative topics such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs and so-called digital citizenship. The event is organized by the Alumni Association of the Galilean School of Higher Studies, in collaboration with the Galilean School of Higher Studies and the Alumni Association of the University of Padua and our speech will be held on Friday 3 September from 8.30 to 10.40. What do we expect from the Summer STEM Academy? Participating in the Summer STEM Academy means, first and foremost, offering our contribution to the training of young people who are passionate about science, bringing added value to the life of the community thanks to collaboration with valuable organizations in our area.
We asked Tommaso what he expects from the event: “Last year's teaching at the Summer STEM Academy allowed me to get involved, rediscovering a new role and a new way of approaching myself, different from the corporate context. I had the opportunity to interact with attentive, curious and knowledgeable young people who were able to grasp the main ideas of the topic covered. This year, the topic covered concerns blockchain technology and its applications: I am confident that I will find interesting people in front of me who are passionate about these current topics. The hope is to be able to convey curiosity, passion and the desire to learn more, in a context that is new to me, such as a classroom.
